Scots Gold 8 Year Old Blended Scotch

For that extra touch of sophistication. The whisky in this blend has matured for 8 years; but most of the malts are 10 to 12 years old, helping to create an exceptional, velvety taste.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Malty, fresh oak, ginger and fruit.

Palate: Spicy with a pleasing mouth tingle,
good richness and faint smoke.

Finish: Continued spice and soft fruit.

Rounded and expressive on the nose, with a rich malty heart, vanilla, toffee, apple chips, dried banana, and an array of freshly ground spices. Flavors of delicious caramel, banana, red apple, and vanilla custard keep the taste buds occupied as the spices slowly build up a head of steam. The controlled delivery of flavor and balance from this blend is impressive, though there's still sufficient punch for mixing.
