King Malcolm III was crowned King of Scotland (in 1058) after successfully uniting the Highland clans for the first time. Taking his nickname Canmore, ‘The Chief’ in Gaelic, the House of Canmore ruled Scotland for over 200 years. The bravery, sense of adventure and defiant character of King Canmore inspired our Single Malt Scotch range.
All our Canmore malts have been personally selected by Charles Edge which are patiently matured in ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks.
After only four short years Charles Edge London was awarded the coveted “Distillery of the Year” award at the 2022 USA Spirits Ratings Competition in San Francisco, a glowing endorsement of our quality single malt bottlings.

SINGLE MALT SCOTCH
The bold rich taste of Canmore Single Malt reflects the life of King Malcolm III. Confident but not too loud, this is a reassuringly complex and smooth single malt made for all whisky drinkers both new and experienced.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Warm and woody with apple sweetness.
Palate: Light and buttery on the tongue with hints of sweet fruit and gentle spice.
Finish: A gentle mix of red berries and spice.
12 YEAR OLD
The greatest tales are the ones that take time to unfold. The same is said about our 12 year old Canmore Single Malt. Rich in heritage and flavour, this single malt delivers an assured and majestic whisky experience for all.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: A delightful blend of wood and chocolate with hints of sherry. Add a little bit of water to get the fragrance of sweet apple and warming spice.
Palate: Warm and comforting earthy notes with a juicy fruit taste.
Finish: Medium to long.

Every whisky is an expression of a distiller's skill. Single Cask whisky combines this artistry with the selected character of an individual cask to create something truly unique that will unlikely be recreated. Straight from the cask, untampered with. No colouring, no chill-filtration, by their nature small batch and limited edition.
After years of working with some of the finest Uk distillers, we have selected whiskies that are the most characterful and offer something different. We work with experts specialising in whisky cask selection and distribution to identify casks that will deliver a truly remarkable marriage of wood and whisky. They understand what flavour outcomes of whisky are when placed within rare quality casks, over different maturation times.

ARDMORE
10 YEAR OLD
Known for its woodsmoke and peated character, our 10 year old Ardmore whisky is matured in a bourbon cask and offers those that enjoy smoky whisky something different.
The peatiness is balanced by a gentle apple/floral lift. Our Ardmore 10 Year Old Single Cask edition is limited to 309 bottles.
GLEN GARIOCH
12 YEAR OLD
We selected a Glen Garioch whisky aged for 12 years in a first-fill bourbon cask. The distillery is famous for being in the valley producing the best barley in Scotland and only ever produces in small amounts.
Known for it's maltiness, honeyed sweetness and delicious creamy texture to savour. Our Glen Garioch 12 Year Old Single Cask is an edition of only 287 bottles.
GLENROTHES
10 YEAR OLD
Glenrothes is hidden away in the heart of Speyside. The house style of the Glenrothes is rich, fully rounded and elegant.
The distillery produces whisky which delivers a ripe bouquet of fruits and creamy vanilla, sometimes spicier, sometimes more floral. Our Glenrothes expression is limited to only 470 bottles.
CRAIGELLACHIE
14 YEAR OLD
Craigellachie is at the very heart of the Speyside whisky region. The distillery prides itself on its distinct meaty and spicy aromas as well as tropical and orchard fruitiness.
The distillery is often underrated for its Single Malt whisky as it produces a huge promotion of its whisky for blended whiskies due to its unique flavour profile. Many would, including Charles, challenge this view, believing it to be a well-kept secret! Our Single Cask edition is limited to 352 bottles.
BUNNAHABHAIN
12 YEAR OLD
Known as a milder non-peated islay whisky Bunnahabhain is famous for its links with the sea especially as it had no land access until the 1960s, relying instead on the movement of goods in and out via its iconic pier (last used in 1993)
Unlike other Islay distilleries, Bunnahabhain draws its water directly from a local natural spring, giving the whisky its signature unpeated profile. We have selected a 12 year old Bunnahabhain whisky matured in a first fill sherry butt since 2009, which gives this light whisky a hedgerow fruit nose and palate. Our Single Cask edition is limited to 913 bottles.
